The second book of the Gasparilla Curse series, Tarpon! is now at the publisher with books set to be printed in 1-2 weeks. They will be available on Amazon.

I am excited to report that Doubloon! has won the New York Big book award for best chapter book! This is in addition to previously announced Purple Dragonfly awards for chapter book and cover design.

The Corona virus pandemic is putting most of us at home and our kids away from school. Doubloon!is a fun book to read to dream of an away adventure. The sequel will be Tarpon!, and is in the finalized first draft stage. The idea for the third and final book in the series is in my head, not on paper yet. Enjoy!

We have corrected some small typos and added short answer and essay questions for students or book club folks. I hope this makes the reading and teaching more fun for all!
